Rajasthan, the land of deserts and forts, of history and traditions, of romance and valor in India, has much to offer in the field of adventure activities. Apart from some great trekking possibilities in varied terrain, Rajasthan has perfect paragliding destinations in the Arravali hills and there are a number of unusual safaris that can only be experienced in Rajasthan. Lesser known places in many parts posses untapped wealth. For instance in Rajasthan, dine with members of the nobility, hobnob with the hoi polloi, go fort hopping and on village safaris.
Day 01: Delhi
Arrive in Delhi transfer to hotel. Afternoon city sightseeing of Old and New Delhi.
Day 02: Agra
Morning board Shtabadi Express to Agra (city of The Tajmahal. City sightseeing of Agra.
Day 03: Karauli - Bharatpur
Drive to Karauli via Fatehpur-Sikri and Bharatpur. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Karauli
Visit the city, Kailadevi Temple and palace of Karauli, a town near the Chambal Valley.
Day 05: Jaipur
Morning drive to Jaipur stopping en route at Abaneri stepwell afternoon city tour of Jaipur.
Day 06: Pushkar
Morning visit Amber fort, drive to Pushkar and view sunset over lake.
Day 07: Pushakar - Khejarla
Visit Brahma temple and ghats. Late morning drive to Khejarla fort in time for late lunch. Evening take a round of the village. Dinner and over- night stay.
Day 08: Nimaj
Drive to Nimaj after visit to Rabari settlement, getting a feel of their lifestyle. They are shepherds by profession. Nimaj is a village steeped in history, possessing temples going back to the 9th century Evening jeep to Chattarsagar reservoir home to ducks, waterfowls, for bird watching and viewing the spectacular sunset. Dinner at the fort.
Day 09: Jodhpur
Early morning drive to Jodhpur. Half day city tour.
Day 10: Jaisalmer
Morning drive to Jaisalmer.
Day 11: Jaisalmer
Visit Lodarva temple, go camel riding at the sand dunes.
Day 12: Luni - Bishnoi
Drive to Luni: Evening jeep safari to Bishnoi village where black bucks are a protected species. Evening, dinner with royalty at Chanwa Fort.
Day 13: Kumbhalgarh
Drive to Kumbhalgarh via Ranakpur Jain temples. Overnight stay at Aodhi.
Day 14: Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur
Visit Kumbhalgarh Fort, continue driving to Udaipur. Boat ride at Lake Pichola.
Day 15: Nagda
Tour of Nagda ruins, Eklingji temples, palace and museum. Evening flight to Delhi. Overnight stay.
Day 16: Delhi/Departure
Transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward destination.
