Agra the zenith of art and an enshrined romance. It is a town that lives mainly in the past. Once the seat of the Mughal rulers.
Their passion for building endowed it with some of the loveliest buildings in the world - the Taj Mahal a poem in white marble which took 22 years to build by 20,000 skilled artisans who inlaid the white marble edifice with precious and semi precious stones.
The Agra Fort from where one can get the most moving view of the Taj from the little octagonal tower in the Agra Fort which lies across the river Jamuna.

Drive to Agra through the Indian country side. Upon arrival proceed to the Taj Mahal to see the architectural modern day wonder of the world, the incomparable Taj Mahal. This monument is a fine example of the fusion of many architectural styles and is one of the wonders of the modern world. Built in 1652 by Emperor Shah Jahan.
1300 to 1400 hours
Proceed to Restaurant in Agra where a sumptuous buffet lunch awaits you.
1400 to 1500 hours
After lunch visit the Agra Fort built in red sandstone with its magnificent palaces, halls of public and private audience and the beautiful gardens. This is where Emperor Shah Jahan was kept under house arrest by his third son Aurangzeb and spent the last year of his life viewing the Taj Mahal from across the river Jamuna.
1500 to 1530 hours
Visit to a marble factory to see the beautiful inlay of precious and semi precious stones into the marble.
1600 to 1630 hours
Finally before driving back to Delhi, one can make a brief visit to Sikandra the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Akbar, a magnificent garden tomb. Return to Delhi around 2130 hours stopping midway for refreshments.

Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city of Delhi for the Golden Triangle Tour, an India Tour Guides representative will be there to greet you and your family at the airport / railway station from where you will be escorted to the hotel in Delhi. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, go for shopping at the famous Connaught Place. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, commence on daylong sightseeing city tour of Delhi. Witness Delhi's rich architectural heritage in the forms of Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Humayun Tomb, Purana Quila among others. Day 03: Delhi - Agra
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, set out for a exciting road trip to Agra. Enroute visit the Akbar's Tomb at Sikandra. After arrival at the hotel in Agra, check in and have a sumptuous lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a sightseeing tour of Agra whereby you will get to see the best of Mughal architecture such as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb. Day 04: Agra - Jaipur
Day Four will see you driving full speed towards Jaipur. Enroute, there will be a stopover at Fatehpur Sikri, a historical town built by Akbar where you can see the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world; Jama Masjid and the tomb of famous Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chisti. After arrival, check in at the hotel in Jaipur and spend some time at leisure. In the evening, visit the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the modern Birla Planetarium. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur
On the morning of the penultimate day of the Golden Triangle Tour, visit the magnificent Amber Fort, the greatest attraction at Jaipur. The famous fort is situated 7 miles up on a hilltop. The most convenient way to reach the fort is by riding an elephant. A ride to the fort on the back of an elaborately painted elephant is a special tourist attraction, which would surely be a unique experience for you. Move on to visit the other forts in Jaipur such as the Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort. Spend the evening shopping at leisure at the famous Bapu Bazzar where you can buy exquisite handicrafts items, jewelry, clothes and other attractive items. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur - Delhi
Enjoy the splendid drive back to Delhi. On arrival check-in to a hotel at Delhi. If time permits, explore the metropolis and do a last minute shopping. Later you would be transferred to airport / railway station for your onward journey or way back home.

Day 04 : Agra - Jaipur (Approx. 239 kms /5.5 Hrs)
Morning drive towards of Jaipur the "Pink City" of Rajasthan. En-route visit the Fatehpur Sikri, built by great Mughal Emperor Akbar, as his capital but after few years abandoned due to scarcity of water. The whole city is built of Red Sand Stone.. It was a veritable fairy tale city and its 'ruins' are still in pristine condition making it easy to imagine what court life must have been like in its heyday and the Buland Darwaja (One of the largest gate in India). Day 05 : Jaipur
After breakfast, excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance. Amber Fort : At a distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, Amber was the ancient capital of Jaipur state. On return drive past the Jalmahal Afternoon city tour of Jaipur. Visit the City Palace which has museum having an extensive collection of art, carpets, enamel ware and weapons; Jantar Mantar - the observatory built my Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728 and the façade of Hawa Mahal - the Palace of winds. Day 09 : Udaipur
After breakfast, visit the romantic city of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace which is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan; Jagdish temple, a fine Indo Aryan temple built in 1651; Sahelion ki Bari or Garden of the Maids of Honour, which is a small garden with its fountains, kiosks, marble elephants & lotus pool. . Evening visit some of the terracotta or tie-and-dye artists of Udaipur at "Shilpgram". Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 : Udaipur - Jodhpur (Approx. 275 Kms / 6 hrs)
Morning transfer to Jodhpur, en-route visiting the beautifully carved Jain temple at Ranakpur. After arrival, check into hotel. Later visit the Mehrangarh Fort which literally means "Majestic Fort", located at the very centre of the city. There are in all, three gates , each built to commemorate a particular victory, as well as to reinforce the fort. It has a collection of musical instruments, palanquins, furniture & cannons on the forts' ramparts are well preserved. Jaswant Thada : Close to the fort complex lies this white marble cenotaph, built in 1899, in commemoration of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Rare portraits of Jodhpur's rulers are, also, to be seen at Jaswant Thada. Also visit the Clock Tower - the city centre. Overnight at hotel
Day 11 : Jodhpur - Jaisalmer (Approx. 280 Kms / 6.5 hrs)
Morning transfer to Jaisalmer, the 'Golden city' of Rajasthan. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and take relax. Post lunchtime at leisure to walk through the streets of peaceful and charming Jaisalmer.
Day 12 : Jaisalmer
Morning sightseeing of the Jaisalmer Fort, the Gadsisar lake, royal cenotaphs and Jain temples. Afternoon visit to Sam, for an experience of the placid sand dunes of the Thar desert. Late afternoon, enjoy Camal Ride in Desert. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 13 : Jaisalmer - Bikaner (Approx. 330 Kms / 7.5 Hrs)

Morning transfer to Mandawa in the Shekhawati region. Upon arrival, check into hotel. Afternoon, we make a walking tour of Mandawa to visit some of the beautifully painted mansions of the town and experience the lifestyle of the royal families in the past. Overnight in Mandawa.
Day 15 : Mandawa - Delhi (Approx. 250 Kms / 6 Kms)
Drive to Delhi, followed by drop at the international airport for flight back home.
