ASSAM - MEGHALAYA (8 NIGHTS / 9 DAYS)

DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT GUWAHATI AIRPORT / RLY STN.

Arrival at Guwahati airport or Railway station, meet and greet & transfer to hotel. Later visit Balaji Temple, Sankardeva Kalakhetra. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

DAY 02: LOCAL SIGHTSEEING IN GUWAHATI

Today morning after breakfast @ 8 AM, start for full day local sightseeing including visit to Kamakhya Temple, Navagraha Temple, Umananda Temple, State Zoo. You can have ethnic Assamese lunch in Paradise / Heritage Khorika / Delicacy restaurant (Payment will be as per package inclusion) Evening enjoy sunset River cruise over the river Brahmaputra (Cruise is subject to weather conditions & availability, PAYMENT WILL BE DIRECT). Overnight in Guwahati.

DAY 03: GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA (250 Kms/250 Kms)

Early morning after breakfast drive to Kaziranga. Check in Hotel. Afternoon jeep safari at Western Range. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at Kaziranga.

DAY 04: KAZIRANGA

Early morning go for Elephant ride in the park. (Elephant riding time: 1st Ride- 5.15-6.15 AM; 2nd ride: 6.30-7.30 am) Return for Breakfast. After breakfast free for leisure or you can visit tea plantations, rubber plantations. After lunch Jeep safari in the Central Range. Overnight at Kaziranga.

DAY 05: KAZIRANGA – SHILLONG (325 Kms/ 7 hrs)

Early morning after breakfast drive to Shillong. En route visit Umium Lake. Check in Hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at Shillong.

DAY 06: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE - SHILLONG (60 KMs / 2 hrs-One way)

Today morning after breakfast excursion to Cherrapunjee. Visit Dwan Syiem view point, Noh kalikai falls, Mawsmai caves, Seven Sister falls, Eco park etc. Later drive back to Shillong. On the way visit to Shillong Peak & Elephant Falls. In the evening, you can go for shopping at Police Bazar. Overnight in Shillong.

DAY 07: (6th January) :SHILLONG – DAWKI - MAWLYNNONG – SHILLONG (85 KMs / 2 ½ hrs-One way)

After breakfast excursion to Dawki, The Indo Bangladesh Border and then to Mawlynnong (The cleanest village in Asia). Later return back to Shillong. Evening visit Local markets. Overnight in Shillong.

DAY 08: (7th January) : SHILLONG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Early morning after breakfast local sightseeing in Shillong which includes Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Don Bosco Museum, Golf Couses, Laitlum Canyons. Overnight at Shillong.

DAY 09: (8th January) : SHILLONG - GUWAHATI AIRPORT / RLY STATION DEPARTURE (130 Kms/ 3 hrs)

Today morning after breakfast transfer to Guwahati airport or Railway station.
